And this is my thoughts of it.

Made a quick unboxing video of the Nissin

I bought it for 999 SEK (Swedish Krona) thats about 143 US Dollars. And i definitely think its a good buy for the money. The flash is compatible with both Nikon and Canon cameras. Mine is for Nikon. The flash features full TTL support and has four modes.

  • TTL Mode, where the camera controls the flash.
  • Manual Mode, where the flash is fully manual when mounted on camera.
  • Slave Mode 1, the camera triggers on TTL preflash.
  • Slave Mode 2, the camera triggers on any flash.

The build quality is good, but do not expect it to survive a few drops to the floor. Included with the flash there is a pouch and a flash stand with tripod mount.

And i would recommend to get some rechargeable batteries for the flash, it eats up alkaline batteries.
